Sponsorship

Our customers and the community are at the heart of everything we do and we like to give something back.

We have sponsorship arrangements with many local associations including -

 

• Dundee High School FP Rugby Club

We have sponsored the boys for many years now and wish them all the best for the 2011/12 season in the RBS Premier 1 Division. Hopefully they will be able to build on last year's success and this will be their year!

 

• Engineering Development Trust Go4Set

We sponsored and mentored a group of six pupils from Braeview Academy, Dundee on a project to propose Biomass Fuelled Renewable Electricity & Heat Pump for their School.

Our Operations Director, Colin Low, spent one hour per week for 10 weeks helping them prepare their project and took them on site visits to our Head Office in Dundee, to see a Biomass Boiler in action at the recently completed Hillcrest Group Headquarters and to the construction site for the new build Primary School in Whitfield, Dundee.

The project outcomes were evaluated at a celebration and assessment day on the 24 January 2012 where the teams were required to display and present their solutions and were interviewed by a panel of judges.

We were delighted that the team won the Student Choice Award for the best proposal and stand voted for by all the teams on the day. Well done Braeview! Hopefully we will see some budding young apprentices and engineers in a few years time.
